First semester DONE AND DONE. It feels like it flew by yet at the same time so many memories have been made and friendships formed.
As I was looking through the photos on my phone trying to come up with a story to describe my time at Cornell so far, I realize how much has happened since those first few days I stepped on campus to where I stand right now.
I came to Cornell eager for a new experience and ready to embrace everything. I didn’t know that the people I met would have already impacted me so much. I didn’t understand how such strong relationships could be built in just a few months. And I certainly did not expect to have met such amazing people who are generous in their actions and always there for you.
Let’s start from the beginning.

We arrived and I took captured the view from the hotel room. Silly me didn’t realize I would get to see that every day, Like this…

Oh my.

This amazing bagel fueled my long day of unpacking-CTB Bagel toasted with Tofutti cream cheese, lox, tomatoes, onions and capers. Best bagel ever. This bagel has also fueled late library nights.

That takes skill.

There was homecoming…

Where I might have looked like a candy cane…

We also went to apple fest and took cute pictures in this cage. I have never had a better apple than the ones I got at Apple Fest. Just saying.

Got dressed up for formalz…aren’t we bootiful?

BIG RED HOCKEY. #Obsessed.
I also spent a weekend in NYC with fellow Hotelies for the Hotel Show

We ate Shake Shack after hearing the CEO speak to us

Got a tour of the Food Network

Where my friend and I thought we were TV Hosts…

Roamed around Central Park
\
And got all fancy for events

And enjoyed every moment

Happy Holidays at the Statler! Christmas trees make 8:40 am classes on Fridays more BEARable.

And nothing beats “family dinners” with my friends…
That’s just a brief glipse into the past few months and I hope to continue sharing photos (and hopefully recipes) in the future!
With love and cupcakes,
